Zapasnoy vykhod (2022) is a Russian crime-comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Director Sergey Chekalov sets the whole thing in a place most shows avoid — the morgue of a small provincial hospital. Rated 18+, it pairs two of Russia's best-loved actors, Yuri Stoyanov and Roman Madyanov.

Two attendants share the night shift. Pal Palych Shishko, an ex-con with a long record, and Nikolai Kedrov, a burnt-out former detective. They can't stand each other and stay coldly formal. Then a young investigator, Lieutenant Dmitry Saykin, walks in — the guy his department dumps every hopeless case on. He overhears the two attendants crack a murder in a handful of sentences: where, when, how, and finally a name. Saykin takes the credit, and an odd partnership is born.

What makes it tick is the gap between grim surroundings and bone-dry banter. Stoyanov and Madyanov don't play sleuths so much as two world-weary men who happen to out-think the entire police force.
