Synopsis
The Tkachovs Are in Touch (Ткачёвы на связи, 2024) is a Russian comedy you can watch online on iFILM — a whole family held together by a phone screen. Natasha left for Moscow; the rest stayed back in the Urals.
Her career in the capital is slowly taking shape, but guilt keeps nagging: she walked out on the people who raised her. The only thing keeping them close is an endless stream of video calls — with her younger sister, now settled in a small Sverdlovsk-region town, and with parents whose divorce hasn't stopped them from sharing a house and bickering daily. Natasha herself is seeing a man much older than her and can't yet bring herself to tell the family. Marina Vasilyeva and Maksim Lagashkin lead a story about long-distance love that sometimes grates more than it saves.
