Synopsis
The Turkish comedy "Modern Woman" (Modern Kadın, 2025) is available to watch online on iFILM. Pınar holds a brand assistant manager position at an Istanbul food company, looks put-together from the outside, and blows out her birthday candles wishing for exactly two things: a promotion and a decent man. Neither has arrived.
Directed by Ayberk Sak and Murat Kaman, the series follows Pınar — played by İrem Sak — as she tries to live on her own terms while family back in Sivas keep lobbying for the prince-on-a-white-horse version of her life. The comedy lands not because the premise is fresh, but because Pınar is neither a mess nor a polished girlboss. Just someone trying to figure it out before everyone else figures it out for her.
