Omar in the Big City (2019) is a Russian comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Omar, a young man from the Dagestani village of Novolakskoye, is being pushed toward an arranged marriage by his parents. His solution: claim he's employed at Gazprom and vanish to Moscow.

At the train station he meets Oleg, a taxi driver who becomes his unlikely anchor in the city. Directed by Dmitry Grachev and Roman Fokin, the series doesn't mock either world — it just puts them side by side and watches what happens.
