"The Manny" (El niñero, 2023) is a Mexican romantic comedy series you can watch online on iFILM, starring Sandra Echeverría and Iván Amozurrutia. She runs a company. He runs a ranch. The kids will decide who stays.

The premise is a panic hire: a high-powered executive with no one to watch her children takes on a rancher who has never set foot in a city office and doesn't plan to start acting like he belongs in one. The pairing works because neither of them gets to be the joke — she's competent and right about most things, he's genuine and right about the things she won't admit matter. Diana Bovio has a well-timed supporting role. The show doesn't reinvent the genre, but it plays the formula with enough warmth and good casting that the ending earns itself.
