Synopsis
Atel Matel (2025) is a Russian comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Igor Bagaturia. Moscow conman Sasha Rodionov owes money to a shadowy creditor known as the Beekeeper — a man who doesn't do payment plans. With enforcers closing in, Sasha packs his family into a witness protection scheme and vanishes to Dagestan.
His wife and kids think it's a vacation. What greets them is a half-collapsed barn in a mountain village, which Sasha (Yan Tsapnik) immediately rebrands as a boutique eco-hotel and opens for business. The hotel turns out to be a hit. That success is the problem — it tells the wrong people exactly where he is. Anastasia Panina plays Sasha's wife; Yuliya and Stanislav Kostyushkin round out the ensemble.
