Synopsis
Gurzuf (2018) is a Russian detective series set in Soviet Crimea — watch it online on iFILM. June 1965, the Black Sea resort town of Gurzuf: militia chief Rodion Stotsky has spent three years turning the place into the calmest spot on the entire southern coast. That reputation collapses in a matter of days.
Three crimes hit the resort at the start of the summer season: a gang of criminals is gunned down in a taxi, a truck carrying wages for Artyok camp workers is hijacked, and an underground gambling den is raided at gunpoint. Stotsky is certain the incidents are connected — and the window to catch the perpetrators is short. An old friend, Taras Zaitsev, travels to Crimea to help him dig.
