A private plane goes down over the jungle, and the only survivor is an infant. Cheeta the chimp digs the baby out of the wreck and carries him home to Tarzan and Jane, who raise the boy as their own. Five years on, the child they call Boy climbs vines, swims like a fish and talks to the animals — until a search party arrives. He's the heir to a fortune, and the dead family's relatives want him back in civilization, money included. Jane is willing to lead them out; Tarzan is not.
