Status Update

Status Update (2018) is a teen fantasy comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Scott Spir and starring Ross Lynch. Kyle's parents split, he lands in an unfamiliar town, and nothing about his new life clicks.

Then he ends up with an odd smartphone whose app turns every status he posts into reality. He wants to be a sports star, get the girl, blow up as a musician — a couple of taps and it happens. Kyle rockets to the top of the social ladder. The catch: the more he rewrites his life through posts, the more he loses the people who actually mattered, Dani (Olivia Holt) among them.
