Synopsis
Children of the Corn (2020) is an American horror film you can watch online on iFILM. In a sleepy Nebraska town, the adults plan to plow under the failing corn fields for good — but the local kids would rather take up blades than let that happen.
Leading the uprising is a twelve-year-old girl convinced something in the corn is speaking to her. Under her sway, the children turn on their own parents and start cutting down anyone who stands in the way. The one person trying to break the spell is high-schooler Boleyn, played by Elena Kampouris. Bit by bit the quiet farm community becomes a trap where grown-ups have nowhere left to hide.
Kurt Wimmer wrote and directed this take on Stephen King's short story — the same tale that spawned a long line of adaptations since the 1980s. This version leans on childhood fanaticism and the uneasy hush of the rural Midwest rather than cheap jump scares. It's a good fit for fans of cult-and-creepy-kids horror.
