Fireworks

Fireworks (Stranizza d'amuri, 2023) is an Italian drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Giuseppe Fiorello. Samuele Segreto and Gabriele Pizzurro carry the film through the slow heat of that summer, as the friendship between their characters tips into something their families refuse to acknowledge and their peers are quick to punish. Fiorello drew from a real crime that shook Sicily that year, and the film's weight comes from that truth pressing against every warm scene.
