Synopsis
Strike (2017), Season 6 is a BBC detective drama you can watch online on iFILM — four episodes and the detectives' most modern case yet. It starts when artist Edie Ledwell walks into the office and asks Robin Ellacott to unmask whoever has spent years tormenting her online.
Edie co-created a cult animated series, The Ink Black Heart. Her life is being poisoned by an anonymous stalker who calls himself Anomie and hides inside the show's fandom and a fan-made online game. At first it reads like a harassment case. Then it stops being one. Cormoran Strike and Robin go hunting for the real person behind the faceless handle, sifting chat logs, forums, and everyone with a reason to stay masked.
The season adapts The Ink Black Heart, the novel Robert Galbraith — J.K. Rowling's pen name — set in a world of pile-ons, doxxing, and threats from accounts with no names. It's the most online chapter of the franchise, and still, underneath, a story about two people who never quite say what's between them. Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger hold that thread to the end. Robin and Strike make a major breakthrough, having eliminated several suspects. Robin's cover is blown, and Strike stays the night at her new flat. Meanwhile, Anomie claims another two victims.

The agency is the target of a devastating attack. Strike figures out who killed Edie, and having secured proof, Robin puts herself in danger in order to save lives.
