Synopsis

What he can do is invent. His house overflows with homemade gadgets nobody at court takes seriously — broom-slippers, a pocket fan, the works. Then the Forbidden City faces an assassination plot led by the Faceless Killer and his family, and suddenly those ridiculous contraptions are all that stands between the emperor and a massacre.
