Synopsis
Illang: The Wolf Brigade (인랑, 2018) is a Korean sci-fi action thriller directed by Kim Jee-woon — watch online on iFILM. The year is 2029. North and South Korea have announced a five-year reunification plan, but major world powers pushed back with economic sanctions, and the country fractured into protests and poverty. Out of that chaos came an armored special forces unit built to suppress a terrorist cell called the Sect — and feared just as much as the enemy it hunts.
Gang Dong-won plays a unit member sent to meet the older sister of a young Sect operative who died during a raid. What starts as a routine contact assignment pulls him into a much deeper scheme: who's actually running the unit, what the sister knows, and how many people above his rank are willing to let him disappear. Han Hyo-joo and Jung Woo-sung complete the film's central triangle.
