Synopsis
Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006) is an Indian comedy-drama directed by Rajkumar Hirani that you can watch online on iFILM. Sanjay Dutt is back as Munna, the lovable Mumbai gangster, with Arshad Warsi returning as his loyal sidekick Circuit.
Munna falls for Jahnvi, a morning radio host, and bluffs his way through a Mahatma Gandhi quiz to get her attention. Then Gandhi starts appearing to him in person — or at least in waking visions — and begins handing out advice. The catch: applying principles of non-violence and truth-telling when you run a criminal operation is genuinely complicated, and a corrupt property developer is quietly moving to take over the old-age home Jahnvi runs.
Hirani pulls off something improbable: a Bollywood crowd-pleaser that actually explains Gandhian philosophy through the daily problems of a street thug, without ever feeling like a lecture.
