Synopsis

The other from a young woman who stabbed her abusive husband to survive. Neither file has a clean answer. On top of that, Dorotea is pushing an euthanasia bill — already politically toxic given the Vatican sits a short walk away.
Sorrentino, director of The Great Beauty and Youth, is back on familiar territory: Rome as backdrop and moral witness, long silences before the decisive line, a man who holds enormous power and can do nothing with it against grief.
