Wild Bill

Wild Bill (1995) is Walter Hill's Western you can watch online on iFILM, with Jeff Bridges as James Butler Hickok — not the legend of the dime novels but a nearly blind, opium-worn man who has spent decades living inside someone else's story.

The film settles in Deadwood, South Dakota, where Hickok arrives with no particular plan beyond cards and whiskey. Ellen Barkin plays Calamity Jane with rougher edges than the mythology usually allows; John Hurt is a still, unhurried stranger with a reason to see Hickok dead; Diane Lane and Keith Carradine complete the ensemble.
