Synopsis

Annibal Ramirez looks exactly like Carlos "the Jackal" Sanchez, the assassin the CIA and Mossad have chased for two decades. Agent Jack Shaw (Donald Sutherland), who barely survived one of Carlos' bombings, sees an opening. With a hard-edged handler played by Ben Kingsley, he drills Ramirez to think, move and kill like the man himself, then sends him straight into the trap.
Aidan Quinn carries the whole picture in a double role, flipping between the family man and the ice-cold killer he's trained to mimic. Director Christian Duguay keeps it grounded and tense, more about psychological erosion than gunfights. A solid pick if you like the grittier, paranoid spy films of the 1990s.
