You Instead

You Instead (2011) is a British musical romance from director David Mackenzie that you can watch online on iFILM. Pop idol Adam and Morello, the frontwoman of a post-punk band, can't stand each other. So of course a stranger cuffs them together right before both are due on stage at a massive festival.

There's no key, both have sets to play, and a hundred thousand fans are waiting. A full day chained at the wrist means sharing the stage, the backstage and each other's baggage — his demanding supermodel, her banker fiancé. Luke Treadaway and Natalia Tena (Osha from Game of Thrones) play the kind of mutual irritation that curdles suspiciously fast into something else.

Mackenzie shot the whole thing live at the real T in the Park festival over a few days, inside an actual crowd, which gives it a loose, genuine pulse.
