Her team is small: linguistic assistant Nigel handles the translation work while the free-spirited Claudia holds down the office. Tia Carrere plays Fox with genuine physicality — the tagline "Beauty. Brains. Black Belt" turned out not to be a stretch. Rival hunters, antique dealers and desperate collectors show up in nearly every episode, and the show never pretends this is a quiet academic life.
