Primeval (2007) is a British sci-fi action series you can watch online on iFILM. Strange glowing rifts are tearing open across England, and through them come creatures that have no business being in the present: a Gorgonopsid prowling a motorway, a giant centipede in the London Underground, a pterosaur circling the countryside. The government quietly assembles a team to track, contain, and occasionally fight them back.

Professor Nick Cutter (Douglas Henshall) leads the unit alongside a soldier, a zoologist, and a tech-savvy young researcher. The anomalies don't follow a schedule — every episode drops the team into a new crisis with a different prehistoric or future beast. And underneath all of it runs a personal mystery: Cutter's wife vanished eight years ago, right through one of these rifts. ITV produced five seasons of the show, and at the time it ranked among the most expensive series ever made in Britain.
