Synopsis

A husband and wife run a drug operation in the Bronx — quietly, almost routinely, like any small business. When the husband is snatched just before Christmas and a ransom demanded, his wife has to move fast: find the money, find the product, keep their daughter out of it. Ice-T plays the kidnapper; Victor Argo fills out the world around them.
Ferrara shoots the city cold and grey, and the film's point is bleak: even a deadline like Christmas doesn't change the arithmetic of this life. Less a thriller than an elegy for people who walked into a corner they can't walk out of. Watch 'R Xmas online on iFILM.
