Nobody will explain the silence around a one-eyed girl named Mei Misaki, who carries a doll and seems invisible to classmates and teachers alike. Kouichi befriends her anyway. Bad idea. The closer he gets to the truth, the faster people around him start dying in grotesque accidents, victims of a curse that has haunted the class for twenty-six years.

Produced by P.A.Works and adapted from Yukito Ayatsuji's novel, the show trades cheap jump scares for slow-building dread: pale dolls, withheld answers, and a body count that lands harder each episode.
