Caddyshack II

Caddyshack II (1988) is the comedy sequel you can watch online on iFILM. Director Allan Arkush picks up where the 1980 original left off — same snobbish country club, fresh target. This time it's self-made millionaire Jack Blakewell, played by Jackie Mason, who gets blackballed by the membership committee for being the wrong kind of rich. His response: write a bigger check and buy the whole operation.

The club's old guard — Robert Stack, Dyan Cannon, Dina Merrill — watches in horror as Blakewell remodels the grounds into something resembling a theme park. Chevy Chase wanders in for a few scenes in his own orbit, and Randy Quaid takes the slapstick to its logical extreme. Jonathan Silverman plays Blakewell's daughter's would-be love interest, caught between two worlds.
