Airport 1975

Flight attendant Nancy Pryor takes the radio and tries to hold things together while her boyfriend Alan Murdock — a test pilot — talks her through the controls from the ground. Karen Black makes the most of a genuinely impossible premise, and the supporting cast fills the cabin: George Kennedy, Myrna Loy, Linda Blair as a young passenger awaiting a kidney transplant, and a nun played by Helen Reddy who sings to calm the plane.
