First, teenager Catherine Ross is found dead in Ravenswick, forcing Perez back to a crime he thought was long buried. Then an old friend dies in a rigged car crash — a journalist who may have dug up the wrong story. The last two episodes strand the inspector on tiny Fair Isle, where a mainland storm cuts the island off with every suspect still on it.
