Baby Geniuses
Think innocent. Think helpless. Think again. Naps are history.
Synopsis
Baby Geniuses (1999) is a family sci-fi comedy directed by Bob Clark that you can watch online on iFILM. Kathleen Turner and Christopher Lloyd play a pair of scientists at the baby-product giant BabyCo who are convinced that infant babble is actually a complex universal language — and they want to crack it before anyone else does.
Toddler Sly is their star test subject. He escapes the lab, runs into his twin brother Whit, who's been raised by a normal family, and the two of them start plotting to free the other kids and bring the whole operation down. The scientists grab Whit by mistake and take him back thinking he's Sly. The babies use this to their advantage.
Made for the youngest end of the family audience, the film leans into slapstick and the novelty of seeing toddlers outwit scheming adults at every turn. Turner and Lloyd play it straight, which is exactly the right call for this kind of absurdity. Stream Baby Geniuses (1999) online on iFILM.
