The Incredible Hulk (Seasons 1–5)
Driven by rage. Pursued by an investigative reporter. Wanted for a murder he didn't commit. No one ever said it was easy being green.
Synopsis
The Incredible Hulk (1977–1982) is the classic CBS science-fiction series you can watch online on iFILM. Dr. David Banner, hunting for a way to unlock human strength under stress, doses himself with gamma radiation. Now, whenever rage takes hold, he swells into a green-skinned giant he cannot control.
Bill Bixby plays the haunted Banner; bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno, painted green, is the Hulk himself. Creator Kenneth Johnson made a smart call — instead of comic-book spectacle, he built a road drama about a lonely fugitive. Believed dead, Banner drifts across the country under false names, taking odd jobs and helping strangers while a stubborn tabloid reporter named Jack McGee chases the creature he's convinced is a killer. Each episode brings a new town, new faces, and two inevitable transformations.
What looks quaint today held millions in the late 1970s: few effects, plenty of human story about guilt, anger, and isolation. The famous warning — "Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry" — was born right here. Worth a look for anyone who wants to see where the screen Hulk began, long before the Marvel blockbusters.
