Synopsis
Happythankyoumoreplease (2011) is Josh Radnor's feature directorial debut — a New York indie drama you can watch online on iFILM. Radnor also stars as Sam, a struggling novelist who stumbles across an abandoned boy on the subway and makes an impulsive decision that upends everything he thought he'd figured out about his life.
Three storylines run in parallel. Sam's friendship with a confident young singer, played by Kate Mara, forces him to stop coasting. His best friend Annie, brought to life by Malin Akerman, is living with alopecia and stuck between two very different men — one safe, one real. A third couple, longtime partners played by Zoe Kazan and Pablo Schreiber, faces the particular anxiety of a relationship that has outgrown its original shape. Richard Jenkins turns up in a quietly devastating supporting turn.
