Synopsis
Daughter of Mine (Figlia mia, 2018) — watch online on iFILM — is an Italian drama directed by Laura Bispuri, set on the sun-scorched island of Sardinia. Ten-year-old Vittoria has always known Tina as her mother. Then Angelica, her biological mother, surfaces and wants her back — and Vittoria finds herself pulled in two directions she can't reconcile.
Valeria Golino plays Tina with a quiet, almost desperate tenderness; Alba Rohrwacher's Angelica is louder, more reckless, and just as possessive. First-time actress Sara Casu holds the film together from the center. Bispuri keeps the camera close to the child's face rather than staging adult arguments — the question of belonging stays open because it's seen through a ten-year-old's eyes.
