The Last Diamond (Le Dernier diamant, 2014) is a French-Belgian crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Eric Barbier casts Yvan Attal as Simon, a thief on probation who agrees to one more job: steal the Florentine, a legendary diamond going up for private auction.
To get close to it, Simon has to get close to Julia — the late expert's daughter managing the sale, played by Bérénice Bejo. The setup is familiar; what's less predictable is what happens once the stone changes hands and Simon finds his partners' plans don't include him walking away. Bejo brings enough depth to Julia that the film earns its emotional turn rather than just declaring it. Compact European heist noir — no explosions, just consequences.
