Don Camillo's Last Round (1955) is an Italian comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The third film in the series adapted from Giovanni Guareschi's stories, with French actor Fernandel as the prickly village priest and Gino Cervi as the communist mayor who drives him to distraction.

Peppone has set his sights on a seat in parliament. Don Camillo, who holds frank conversations with the crucifix in his church and routinely ignores the advice he receives, is determined to block the campaign — before quietly working out a private arrangement: he coaches Peppone through a qualifying exam in exchange for a new church building. Loyalties and rivalries shuffle so fast the two men hardly know whose side they are on.

Fernandel and Cervi worked together on five films between 1952 and 1965, and the friction between their characters never grows stale.
