Synopsis
A House of Your Dreams (La Maison du bonheur, 2006) is a French comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Dany Boon directs and stars as Charles, a notorious penny-pincher who decides to splash out on a country house for his wife Anna's 15th wedding anniversary — and immediately finds a way to do it on the cheap.
A smooth-talking estate agent convinces Charles to skip the expensive architect and hire cut-rate workers who promise to build fast. The plan falls apart in every direction at once: money drains away, the apartment gets sold off, and Anna walks out. Michèle Laroque plays Anna with precise comic frustration, while Daniel Prévost rounds out the trio as the slippery agent behind the whole disaster.
