Synopsis
Life for Real (2023) is Dany Boon's French comedy, free to watch online on iFILM. Tridan Lagache has spent fifty years at a Club Med resort where the friends rotate every eight days, so at fifty he quits to chase the one person who stuck in his memory: his childhood crush Violette.
He lands in Paris wide-eyed and clueless, crashing with Louis, a half-brother he never knew existed. Louis wants him gone, so he talks one of his casual flings into playing Violette, and the misty-eyed Tridan buys it on sight. Directing himself in the lead, Boon surrounds the character with familiar faces of French cinema, including Charlotte Gainsbourg and Kad Merad.
