Synopsis
Janet Planet (2024) is a hushed American drama worth watching online on iFILM. The summer of 1991, deep in rural Western Massachusetts: eleven-year-old Lacy begs her mother to take her home from camp, and the two of them spend July alone together.
Julianne Nicholson plays Janet, a woman who pulls people toward her without trying. Over the season three adults drift through their house, each drawn to her in turn, while Lacy watches it all from a child's quiet vantage point — inventing worlds, getting jealous, slowly growing up. Newcomer Zoe Ziegler carries those long stretches of looking and listening. Will Patton, Sophie Okonedo and Elias Koteas fill out the visitors.
