Synopsis
STILL: A Michael J. Fox Movie (2023) is a documentary you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Davis Guggenheim. It moves between personal archive footage and present-day conversations with Fox himself — tracing the arc from a kid on a Canadian military base to the defining face of 1980s Hollywood, and then to the moment, at age 29, when a neurologist handed him a diagnosis.
For years after, Fox kept working and kept quiet about the Parkinson's. The symptoms got harder to hide on set, then impossible. The film goes into all of it: the period of concealment, the drinking, the decision to go public, and the turn toward advocacy that followed. His foundation has since directed hundreds of millions of dollars into Parkinson's research.
Guggenheim doesn't frame this as a redemption story. It lands as something more specific — a portrait of someone whose refusal to be still, in every sense of the word, turned private loss into something that reaches far beyond one person's life. Stream STILL: A Michael J. Fox Movie online on iFILM.
