Synopsis
Cyrano, My Love (Edmond, 2018) is a French period comedy you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Alexis Michalik. Paris, December 1897: playwright Edmond Rostand hasn't produced a line in two years, with a wife and two kids to feed.
Desperate, he talks the celebrated actor Constant Coquelin into a brand-new verse play, and Coquelin books the premiere for Christmas. One small problem — all Edmond has is a title: Cyrano de Bergerac. What follows is three weeks of glorious chaos. Diva actresses, meddling producers, a jealous wife, a lovestruck best friend whose love letters Edmond ghostwrites on the spot — and out of the mess come some of the most famous lines in French theatre. Thomas Solivérès plays Rostand, Olivier Gourmet plays Coquelin.
