Aurora has it all worked out — parties, friends, trips, a daily routine built entirely around herself. Then her daughters drop off seven grandkids, ages six to eighteen, complete with squabbles, phones and teenage meltdowns. A woman who hasn't looked after anyone but herself in years now has to keep the whole crowd alive until the holidays end.
Chantal Ladesou anchors the film as the scatterbrained grandmother, with Julie Gayet and Julie Depardieu alongside her. It's a sequel to an earlier comedy about one big, chaotic family, shot in the same easy register — loud, messy and warm-hearted. No ambitions beyond a pleasant night in with the kids.
