Kit and his prison guard Chai start out as adversaries. Chai's daughter is dying of leukaemia; Kit turns out to be the only compatible donor. Two men trapped inside the same corrupt machine — one put there by design, the other by desperation — end up fighting their way out together. The script holds that geometry steady while the action escalates from cell-block brawls to a full-scale hospital siege.
