Synopsis
Manitou's Canoe (Das Kanu des Manitu, 2025) is a German comedy western you can watch online on iFILM. More than twenty years after the cult original (Der Schuh des Manitu, 2001), Apache chief Abahachi and his white blood brother Ranger are back to keep order in a spoof Wild West that once became Germany's biggest comedy hit.
A fresh pack of bandits springs a trap: everyone wants the legendary Canoe of Manitou. A last-second rescue by their loyal Greek friend Dimitri and his new girlfriend Mari only kicks off a far bigger adventure. Writer-director Michael Herbig again multiplies himself across several roles, with regulars Christian Tramitz and Rick Kavanian along for the slapstick.
