Place publique (2018) is a French comedy-drama from director Agnès Jaoui, available to watch online on iFILM. It follows Castro, a TV host whose fame is quietly running out.

People once stopped him on the street. Now the ratings slip and the invitations dry up. A family gathering at a country house pulls together relatives and old acquaintances, and Castro has to face who he is once the cameras switch off. Jean-Pierre Bacri plays the fading celebrity with sharp, unsentimental wit, alongside Léa Drucker and Jaoui herself, his longtime writing partner.
