Synopsis

A daughter, Chantal, is born. Philippe drifts in and out across the years, and with each return the cost to both mother and child compounds quietly. Virginie Efira carries the film — her Rachel is not a victim in any simple sense, which is exactly what makes the story uncomfortable.
