Third century BC. Two orphan boys drill with wooden swords from dawn to dusk, dreaming of growing into legendary generals. One of them, Shin, gets pulled into the palace because he is the spitting image of the young king of Qin. A coup tears the friends apart, and the low-born swordsman is swept into the war to unify all of China.

Kento Yamazaki plays Shin; Ryo Yoshizawa takes on two roles, the king and his double. Director Shinsuke Sato (Gantz, I Am a Hero) stages enormous battles with thousands of fighters and keeps the manga's raw charge intact.
