Synopsis
Sanam Teri Kasam (2016) is an Indian romantic drama you can watch online on iFILM. Directing duo Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru tell a love story bound less by a vow than by something closer to a curse.
Saraswati (Mawra Hocane) is a shy, bespectacled librarian her own family has written off: suitor after suitor turns her down, and her younger sister, unable to marry first, quietly resents her for it. In despair, she turns to her neighbor — Inder (Harshvardhan Rane), a blunt ex-convict who has gone out of his way to avoid her. He agrees to remake the plain bookworm into someone who might win the colleague she has long pined for. Of course, somewhere in that makeover, two very different people fall for each other instead.
The filmmakers weave in the legend of Shiva and Sati and echoes of Erich Segal's novel Love Story, while Himesh Reshammiya's soundtrack took on a life of its own.
