Synopsis
The Brain Man (脳男, 2013) — watch online on iFILM — a Japanese sci-fi crime thriller directed by Tomoyuki Takimoto. A string of bomb attacks rocks a provincial city. Detective Chaya runs down a suspect and brings him in.
What he finds is hard to categorize. The man is physically powerful, coldly intelligent, and shows zero distress under interrogation. Psychiatrist Dr. Mariko evaluates him and arrives at a disturbing hypothesis: this person may have been born entirely without emotions. No fear, no remorse, nothing.
