Synopsis
The Lady Vanishes (2013) is a British TV thriller you can watch online on iFILM — a remake of Hitchcock's 1938 film, directed by Diarmuid Lawrence. Pre-war Europe: a train heading from Tyrol to London, and socialite Iris Carr wakes from a nap to find her travelling companion, elderly Mrs Froy, simply gone — while every other passenger insists there was never anyone sitting next to her.
The whole film takes place on that train, and the tension is about who in this sealed world is lying. Tuppence Middleton plays Iris; Keeley Hawes is the vanished Mrs Froy.
