Synopsis
The Rookie Guide (Le Routard, 2025) is a French comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Yann can't hold down a job and can't afford the travels he keeps daydreaming about. Then he hears that the famous Le Routard guidebook pays people to roam the world, talks his way into a trial assignment, and figures he's just landed a free holiday. Reality hits fast: his boss wants forty Marrakech locations scouted and rated in three days.
What looked like a dream gig spins into a frantic mess. A hammam doubles as an underground casino, a sharp local guide named Sofia turns out to be tangled in antiquities smuggling, and a slippery art-dealing crook called Dr Charoux is pulling the strings. To survive and keep the job, Yann has to outmaneuver thieves, mobsters, the police and his own employer all at once.
