Synopsis
Sasha + Masha (2003) is a light Russian sitcom you can watch online on iFILM, built around a couple who share a home but keep putting off the wedding. He is just past thirty and runs a small IT firm. She is back in school, chasing a second degree — in sexology, of all things.
Don't expect a running storyline. Every installment is stitched together from short comedic vignettes: a grocery run, a renovation, a silly quarrel, unexpected guests, a holiday gone sideways. Plain domestic stuff, and that's the point — Sasha and Masha turn the most ordinary errand into a reason to bicker and then make up. Yelena Biryukova and Georgy Dronov carry the whole thing, and the show lives or dies on their easy, lived-in chemistry rather than on broad gags.
