Synopsis
Frank of Ireland (2021) is an Irish comedy series available to watch online on iFILM. Frank Malone is 33, lives in a single room at his mother's house in Dublin, hasn't touched his music in over seven years, and is completely convinced the problem is everyone else. Co-written by and starring brothers Brian and Domhnall Gleeson.
Frank has a best friend called Doofus, which tells you most of what you need to know. He also has an ex he absolutely cannot move on from, played by Sarah Greene. His tenuous grip on reality is the engine of the whole show — each episode he schemes toward some version of respect or recognition, and the universe declines to cooperate.
