Ideal (2005) is a British sitcom led by Johnny Vegas that you can watch online on iFILM. Moz deals weed out of his flat in Salford, just outside Manchester, and barely ever steps outside it.

The whole show lives inside those four walls, with a steady parade of callers passing through Moz's door. A childhood mate who happens to be both a copper and his main supplier. Girls who badly need a smoke but have no cash. A wannabe DJ stuck selling lightbulbs in a department store. A burnt-out hippie, a glam neighbour and a dozen other oddballs. The humour runs pitch-black and is an acquired taste, and the charm rests entirely on the hulking, hangdog Vegas.

Created by Graham Duff, who also turns up on screen, the series ran for several seasons on BBC Three and built a cult following. One for fans of grimy, unglossy English comedy. Stream Ideal online on iFILM.
